Flood Risk Modeling and Mitigation Planning - RISE:NYC
Boomi is providing the hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and field auditing services for the Resiliency Innovations for a Strong Economy (RISE: NYC) project. This is part of a Disaster Recovery Block Grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and administered by EDC.
Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping (PPGH)
Boomi assisted the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) Bureau of Environmental Planning and Analysis (BEPA) with managing the GIS database of city-owned facilities within MS4 and direct drainage areas and generating technical reports for each site.
Technical Support for Newtown Creek and Gowanus Canal Superfund Efforts
Boomi’s staff have extensively worked outside and within DEP on both Gowanus Canal and Newtown Creek superfund projects, including sewer system characterization, InfoWorks (IW) modeling evaluations and peer review, drainage analyses, and alternatives evaluation.
